Jean-Pierre Landau is a senior French civil servant. After serving as an advisor to the Inspectorate General of Finance, Foreign Trade and then the Ministry of Economy and Finance, he became Executive Director for France at the IMF and the World Bank in Washington, then at the EBRD. He was then Minister Counsellor for Financial Affairs at the French Embassy in London and finally Deputy Governor of the Banque de France. Jean Pierre Landau has taught at Princeton University and at John Hopkins University (Washington DC). He is an associate professor at SciencesPo.
